To switch things up, they introduced this new line to attract those hesitant about traditional coffee's bitterness. With two options—Standard and Citrus—these drinks are designed to be easier on the palate.

Our Japanese reporter, K. Masami, a coffee lover turned curious taste tester, gave the Standard Clear Coffee a go. She found it strikingly similar to an iced Americano but with a sweeter twist. The gentle sweetness and ultra-clean finish were big wins, with the aroma still kicking but the bitterness toned down. Though it may not fully satisfy hardcore coffee lovers, it shines as a gateway drink for those who typically shy away from coffee. Set to release on July 31 for 490 yen, this refreshing take on java might just change some minds!
