Tokyo sex worker arrested after claiming need for tuition money but spent it on hosts.

The Tokyo Metropolitan Police just arrested a 25-year-old woman from Nakano Ward for fraud after she scammed a man in his 50s out of roughly 10 million yen (about $7,000). This woman, working in the fuzoku industry, convinced the man she needed money for college tuition, raking in around 560,000 yen ($3,800) by playing the damsel in distress.

Turns out, instead of paying tuition, she was using the cash to feed her partying habits in host clubs. Oh, and the story about her mother's debts? Not clear if that’s another lie, but investigators found images on her phone that were straight from a manual on how to emotionally manipulate men. The police are still digging into this, but the woman already confessed to scamming her so-called “benefactor” in this tuition fraud.
